Pender Arts Council - at the Historic Burgaw Depot

Historic Burgaw Depot - Pender Arts Council Editor: First, my apologies for not displaying pictures of all the works on display at the depot. Second, I don't have any details yet about activities, meetings, etc for the Pender Arts Council, but will in the next few days. (Dec 7th)

Burgaw is a lovely town.

The courthouse is on the town square, under a canopy of tall shade trees. Facing the courthouse, churches, business and mercantile establishments line the sidewalks.

The Pender Arts Council is housed in the wonderful old Burgaw Depot - largely unchanged and looking as if a train could come rumbling through any minute.

Currently on display you will find a sampling of the wide variety of artistic talent in our county - oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, fabric art, carved wood, turned wood, wood baskets, pottery, metal art, meticulously decorated dolls, a elegantly decorated wooden trunk, a very nice set of nesting mission style tables, carved gourds, and more.

You owe it to yourself to drop by for a visit.

Open Thursday through Saturday from Noon to 4 PM.
